Missing Nyanga man sought by family

A Nyanga family is appealing to the public to help them reunite with Makhwenkwandile Nkonyana who has been missing since Friday 17 June.


A Nyanga family is appealing to the public to help them reunite with Makhwenkwandile Nkonyana who has been missing since Friday 17 June.

The 46-year-old man, who is mentally un stable left his home in Mkhonto but has since not returned.

According to his family, he would normally walk to Emaholweniandhis disappearance has left his family very worried.

Makhwenkwandile’s uncle Sibonile Nkonyana said he never went missing for such a long time.

“He usual go to the halls where he knows people and will later return home. In other cases he would walk until the terminus and come back again,” he said.

Nkonyana told City Vision that some people had reportedly seen him near New Cross playing field and thought he was going home.
