A 65-year-old man from Nyanga is being sought by his family after he went missing on Sunday 3 July.
Gladwell Mbiko (65) was last seen when he left his Old Location home, to visit his sister in H Section in Khayelitsha.
But he has not been since even though his family has searched for him at different hospitals.
His nephew, Thembinkosi Mtsobi (41) from Khayelitsha told City Vision the disappearance of his uncle has left them heart broken.
“What worries us more is the fact that he is an old person and his health is not well. We know his memory is not well also, so those that see him may not realise that,” he said.
Mtsobi said it was the first time that Mbiko has gone missing for such a long-time.
“After being informed that he left home to visit his sister we also decided to take it upon ourself to search for him. Our family in Nyanga has been to Tygerburg and police station while on this side we went to KDH,” he said, adding all the visits have been without any success.
Mtsobi said they have looked at the unknowns at the hospitals but it has been without any success.
They ask the public to help them trace Mbiko.
