Look no further!

Communicare is excited to announce that the Vulamathuba Empumelelo Bursary Fund (VEBF) Programme is now open for applications.

What is the VEBF?

Vulamathuba Empumelelo is the community and social development arm of Communicare Social Enterprise and was established to deliver developmental interventions to Communicare tenants and non-tenants residing within Cape Town.

Vulamathuba’s overall objective is to create opportunities for the economic growth of participants by fostering the principle of Economic Mobility through education, skills, training, and development interventions.

The bursary allows recipients to pursue tertiary education, enhancing their self-reliant and financially mobile capacity.

The principal purpose of the fund is to give financial aid to Communicare tenants and individuals from previously marginaliaed communities who have academic potential yet are poor and looking to pursue a qualification that is described as a scarce or critical skill.

Vulamathuba believes in empowering the next generation of leaders and the VEBF is designed to provide financial support to deserving students who are committed to achieving academic excellence.
